Your role and contribution :
We are looking for an Innovation Project Manager intern, to work in the Project Manager Team of the Innovation HUB Department at the worldwide headquarters of Groupe SEB in Ecully.
Supervised by an Innovation Project Manager, you will contribute to the Project mission in the innovation process : to generate innovative and disruptive product or services solutions, answering proven and robust consumer insights.
Your missions :
- Contribute to the understanding of the competitive environment, by :
- Identifying and analyzing the competitive landscape. To do so, you will ensure a regular watch.
- Testing and comparing product performances through laboratory test and verifying product claims.
- Analyzing products architecture & technical solutions.
- Identifying and analyzing patents landscape, with associated limitation and opportunities for the projects.
- Contribute to the construction of new and disruptive concepts of products and services, by :
- Participating and/or co-organizing ideation and design sprint sessions.
- Defining and validating the UX orientations and organizing UX user tests.
- Defining the concept architecture, design, technical solutions.
- Estimating PRU and investment related to the concept.
- Building test means and/or functional prototypes aiming to validate the concept performances through internal or external tests (performances, sensorial, UX).
- Identifying relevant patent protection strategy and contributing to patent redaction
- Contribute to the management of the project, by :
- Interacting with and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Defining and maintaining project organization and monitoring supports such as project planning, reviews minutes and reporting, cost and investment, project KPIs
- Preparing key project deliverables and key milestone supports.
Bring your competencies :
- Master's degree in general engineering, mechanical engineering, Product Design, UX Design or equivalent.
- You are dynamic, creative, and think out of the box.
- Your analytical skills allow you to extract and highlight the key learnings from your research.
- Your communication skills mean that you can BE convincing.
- You are curious about the transformation of our society and consumers' behaviours.
- You possess excellent interpersonal skills, and you enjoy working as part of a team.
- You show a sense of autonomy, initiative, and proactivity.
- Your English is fluent.
- You master the Microsoft Office suite and CAD software.
- Some knowledge of agile project management methods and processes (design thinking, design sprint) will BE a plus.
- An appetence for Corporate Social Responsability topics will BE appreciated.
