Your Role

As aProject Procurement & Logicitic Manager (PPLM), you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end procurement process for complex customer projects (EPC). You will lead and coordinate the activities of Category Buyers, Procurement Officers, Expeditors, and Logisticians, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You will work in a very close relationship with the Project Manager and the Technical Project Manager.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage procurement execution within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Procurement Strategy & Project Execution
- Develop and implement project-specific procurement strategies aligned with Project objectives.
- Ensure timely sourcing, contracting, and delivery of goods and services to support project schedules.
- Manage supplier selection, qualification, contract negotiations and contract execution for all package for the project team.
- - Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and mentor a team of Category Buyers, Procurement Officers, Expeditors, and Logisticians.
- Coordinate procurement activities, ensuring effective communication across project teams.
- Ensure the complete respect of John Cockerill Hydrogen procurement process and standards.
- Drive team performance by setting objectives, monitoring KPIs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Supplier & Contract Management
- Oversee supplier relationship management, ensuring contract compliance and performance.
- Negotiate & manage contract execution in line with project requirements. Take direct responsibility for some key package.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews to mitigate risks and enhance reliability.
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Identify and manage procurement-related risks, implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, legal regulations, and international trade standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, and Construction teams to align procurement activities with technical and operational needs.
- Support cost estimation, budgeting, and reporting activities for project procurement team.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Master's degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in strategic procurement within EPC, Oil & Gas, Renewables, or Heavy Industry.
- Proven leadership experience in managing procurement teams and complex projects.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills.
- Technical understanding of project requirements, materials, and equipment sourcing.
- Knoweldge in ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, Incoterms, and logistics management.
