JOB PURPOSE & MAIN MISSIONS :
- Manage the sustainable & profitable development of all logistics activities in Sierra Leone
- Scope of responsibility includes following activities :
Clearing & Forwarding
Warehousing
Transport management
Shipping Agency, Liner, tramp and supply boat/ off-shore O&G trades
Business development in Mining, Agriculture and general business plus projects
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES DETAILS
- Manage the team
- Validate & review process & organizations
- Build & adapt the logistics services offered
Business Development : Build & adapt the logistics services offer according to market situation or market anticipation, capacity of the organization, profitability and associated risk level in coordination with Sales department and General Management
- Manage high level client relationship
- Drive the subcontractors relationship
- Monitor profitability and quality of service of clients portfolio
- Alert/Inform Management

REQUIRED SKILLS
- At least 5 years' experience in clearing and forwarding OR At least 5 years' experience in shipping agency.
- At least 10 years' experience as a manager
- Knowledge of Haulage - Fleet Management, including maintenance, costing and general operations of a multi-function fleet of over 20 trucks engaged in contract haulage and general plus heavy lift transport
- Knowledge of Warehousing
- Some experience in container base operations, tracking and container storage and handling is useful
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communicator, English mandatory, French will BE a advantage
